The origins of easybooking go back to OCIS in Längenfeld (Tyrol), where in 2006 the need for a simple booking solution for hosts was identified — this year is considered the official starting point (20th anniversary in 2026). easybooking GmbH was formally established at the turn of 2007/2008. In 2010, the company merged into zadego GmbH, which has since acted as the legal entity behind the easybooking brand. The software was known for a long time under the product name JULIA; this name was phased out in favor of easybooking in recent years.
